The Theatre Company is for aspiring actors and individuals who like performing. Members of our Theatre Company devise, create and perform issue-based performances to a variety of audiences. Sessions focus on advocacy and help individuals to gain confidence, express themselves, advocate for others, and use imaginative and creative thinking.
The service is for adults aged 19 and over and takes place on Thursdays from 9.30am to 4pm. It currently costs £65 per day and can be paid for through a direct payment or personal budget. Self-funders are welcome. We can also provide one-to-one support at an additional cost of £10 per hour.
We offer bespoke performances, training and consultation packages for or organisations, which are both unconventional and enlightening. Our aim is to influence the way services are delivered to ensure equality for people with disabilities.
