Danspiration

In June 2023, our Danspiration Project was voted one of the winners of the National Lottery's People's Projects.

Danspiration provides inclusive dance workshops for people of all ages, abilities and cultures. The project is inspired and led by the people who use our services. We use dance and movement to bring people together from across the community. Our aim is for participants to enjoy dance, make new friends, and lead a more healthy and active lifestyle.

The project is funded up until August 2024 and workshops are free, thanks to the National Lottery investment. Open sessions are being provided every Wednesday from 10th January 2024, between 1pm to 2.30pm at Buckley Theatre School, Great George Street, Wigan. This is a wonderful modern dance studio in Tower Enterprise Park, within metres of Wigan town centre's two train stations. We are also providing workshops at a number of community venues, including schools and care homes.
